Having previously seen evidence of previous visits on our decking, we got a glipse of this visitor at nightfall yesterday.

He was a big one. He did not seem scared to the naked eye - it is just the way the flash is reflected in his eyes. The red eye removal software does not seem to work for hedgehogs who presumably have a different colour of retina.
